Mt. Zion Baptist Church Scholarship
FOR MEMBERS OF MT. ZION
The desire to leave a legacy for future generations is what inspired the family of the late Deacon Wilkerson to donate monies to start the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Scholarship in 1996. Deacon Wilkerson served faithfully as the Superintendent of Sunday School before his passing. Due to the historical context in which the scholarship was started, emphasis is place on all scholarship recipients being actively engaged in Christian Education (i.e., Fulfillment Hour). Please carefully review all scholarship material prior to completion. The deadline for submitting all materials is Friday, May 22, 2026 by 5:00pm ET. Late materials will not be accepted. This community scholarship, established in 2021, is a result of Pastor Addis Moore's desire to have the church look and act like God by "living out our faith."
